Andy Kosier

Andy Kosier graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the College of Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Biological Sciences in the spring of 2020. They were the multimedia editor of the Minnesota Daily during the summer of 2020. Previously, Andy was a staff photographer at the Minnesota Daily and a practicum photo intern at the Star Tribune in the spring of 2020. In the fall of 2019, they were a practicum photo intern at MPR News. Andy currently works at the Science Museum of Minnesota.
Andy greatly values the authenticity and connection that multimedia journalism facilitates. They believe that it adds a necessary dimension to the rigorous practice of fairness and accuracy in reporting.
When Andy isn’t working, they enjoy caring for their bearded dragon, Carma, learning new skills from internet tutorials, and expanding their music-listening horizons.
